West's bats were strong against Mid-Atlantic on Monday, but it wasn't enough as West fell 12-9. West took an early lead in the first inning. A wild pitch by Garrett Drew scored one run for West.

West watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 16-0 loss to Southeast on Sunday. Southeast took the lead on a in the first inning.

West defeated Northwest 9-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Bryan Ramirez induced a fly out from Hayden Lomeli to finish off the game.

The 71st Little League Baseball® World Series begins on Thursday, Aug. 17, in South Williamsport, Pa. There are 16 teams, eight U.S. Region teams and eight teams from International Regions, competing for this year’s Little League Baseball World Series Championship.
