Troy Ashkinos drove in five on two hits to lead New England past Mid-Atlantic 12-2 on Wednesday. Troy drove in runs on a grand slam in the fourth and a single in the fifth.
New England and Northwest traded the lead back-and-forth on Monday, but eventually New England prevailed 14-6. New England took the lead for good in the fourth inning.
Mid-Atlantic's effort to come back from down five runs in the sixth inning came up just short, as they fell 7-6 to New England on Thursday. Mid-Atlantic scored four runs in the failed comeback on a error, a single by Tai Mann, and a home run by Chris Cartnick.
