Combined Perfect Game Propels Southeast Region Over Midwest Region, 6-0

Midwest couldn't keep up with Southeast and fell 6-0 on Friday.

Southeast scored four runs in the third inning. Southeast's big inning was driven by a single by Drew Fields, a wild pitch , and a double by Ashton Byars.

Chase Anderson earned the win for Southeast. He pitched three innings, surrendering zero runs, zero hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Two relievers helped Southeast close out the victory. Matthew Matthijs threw two and two-thirds innings. Marcus Phillips took the loss for Midwest. He threw two innings, giving up four runs, three hits, and striking out one.

Southeast had eight hits in the game. Thomas Barrett and Drew each collected multiple hits for Southeast. Southeast was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jacob Calder made the most plays with ten.
