Little League Baseball® World Series Game 22 Postponed Due to Weather Concerns

Due to inclement weather and the likelihood of additional rain, the Little League® International Tournament Committee has announced that Game 22 (Mid-Atlantic Region vs. New England Region), originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 22 at 7:30 p.m., has been postponed until Wednesday, August 23 at 11 a.m.

The 2017 Little League Baseball World Series schedule for Wednesday, August 23 will be as follows:

Wednesday, August 23
Game 22 – Mid-Atlantic Region vs. New England Region – 11 a.m. – Lamade – ESPN
Game 23 – Canada Region vs. Japan Region – 3 p.m. – Lamade – ESPN
Game 24 – Southwest Region vs. Southeast Region – 7:30 p.m. – Lamade – ESPN

The Little League Baseball World Series will continue as scheduled for August 24 through August 27.

Game 18 will resume at 4:45 p.m. (ET).

Game 11 of the LLBWS is currently in a Weather Delay

Game 11 will resume at 8:45 p.m. (ET) and Game 12 will begin at 9:04 p.m. (ET).


Friday, August 18

Little League Baseball® World Series Schedule for Friday, August 18, Amended Due to Weather Concerns

The Little League® International Tournament Committee has announced that the game schedule for Friday, August 18 of the 2017 Little League Baseball® World Series has been amended due to weather. Game 5 (Australia Region vs. Japan Region) and Game 6 (Northwest Region vs. West Region) will be rescheduled to start at 4 p.m., at Volunteer Stadium and Howard J. Lamade Stadium, respectively. Game 7 (Asia-Pacific Region vs. Caribbean Region) and Game 8 (Southeast Region vs. Midwest Region) will be rescheduled to start at 8 p.m. at Volunteer Stadium and Howard J. Lamade Stadium, respectively.

“Consulting with the National Weather Service, the Little League International Tournament Committee believes at this time, this schedule will allow the World Series to remain on schedule throughout the duration of the tournament,” said Patrick Wilson, Little League International Tournament Director.
