South Dakota Wins Little League Baseball® Midwest Region Championship

N/S Dakota-Sioux Falls LL defeated Missouri-Webb City LL 6-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Jack Radel induced a groundout from Kyler Perry to finish off the game.

N/S Dakota-Sioux Falls LL secured the victory thanks to four runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Marcus Phillips, a single by Bennett Dannenbring, and a single by Jack Radel.

One bright spot for Missouri-Webb City LL was a single by Dupree Jackson in the first inning.

Marcus earned the win for N/S Dakota-Sioux Falls LL. He went five and a third innings, allowing zero runs, one hit, and striking out eight. Evan Freeman took the loss for Missouri-Webb City LL. He pitched three and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs, four hits, and striking out six.

Ty Naaktgeboren, Jack, Marcus, and Bennett each collected one hit to lead N/S Dakota-Sioux Falls LL. N/S Dakota-Sioux Falls LL was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Cohen Henry had the most chances in the field with nine.
