One bright spot for Asia-Pacific was a single by Kyum Ahn in the second inning.

Kyum took the loss for Asia-Pacific. He pitched two and two-thirds innings, giving up one run, zero hits, and striking out four.
Jorge Lambarria led Mexico with one hit in two at bats. Mexico was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jorge made the most plays with ten.
Kyum went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Asia-Pacific in hits.
