Mexico Region Defeats Latin America Region, 8-0

Latin America couldn't keep up with Mexico and fell 8-0 on Tuesday.

A single by Jonney Rosario in the second inning was a positive for Latin America.

Isaac Miranda earned the win for Mexico. He pitched four and a third innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, striking out six, and walking zero. Erick Vazquez recorded the last five outs to earn the save for Mexico. Jonney took the loss for Latin America. He threw four and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs, four hits, and striking out seven.

Home runs for Mexico came when Samuel Juarez homered in the second inning and Andre Garza homered in the fifth inning.

Jhann Bozo and Jonney each collected one hit to lead Latin America. Latin America was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Luis Rodriguez had the most chances in the field with eight.

Mexico was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jorge Lambarria made the most plays with ten.
