Latin America Region Defeats Mexico Region, 4-1

Latin America took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Jorge Garcia uncorked a wild pitch, scoring one run and Juan Faria singled off of Jorge, driving in one run.

Jonney Rosario earned the win for Latin America. He tossed five innings, surrendering one run, four hits, striking out seven, and walking one. Dario Cardozo recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Latin America. Jorge took the loss for Mexico. He threw four innings, allowing three runs, two hits, and striking out six.

Juan went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Latin America in hits.

Mexico didn't commit a single error in the field. Andre Garza had the most chances in the field with seven.
