Asia-Pacific Region Wins Junior League Baseball World Series Championship

East-KAU Little League fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-1 loss to Asia-Pacific-Shing-Ming Junior League Team on Sunday. Asia-Pacific-Shing-Ming Junior League Team scored on a home run by Hao Yu Lee and a single by Kuan Yu Chen in the first inning.

Asia-Pacific-Shing-Ming Junior League Team captured the lead in the first inning. Hao Yu Lee drove in three when he homered in the first inning.

Asia-Pacific-Shing-Ming Junior League Team scored seven runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Asia-Pacific-Shing-Ming Junior League Team came thanks to a error, a single by Yi Hsiang Sung, a walk , and a home run.

Chih Chieh Chen earned the win for Asia-Pacific-Shing-Ming Junior League Team. He tossed five innings, giving up one run, four hits, striking out three, and walking one. Cory Burns took the loss for East-KAU Little League. He threw two and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs, and two hits.

Louis Sharp started the game for East-KAU Little League. He went two innings, surrendering five runs, and four hits.

Home runs for Asia-Pacific-Shing-Ming Junior League Team came when Hao Yu homered in the first inning and Tzu Yu Tseng homered in the fifth inning.

Cory went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead East-KAU Little League in hits.

Kuan Lun Huang led Asia-Pacific-Shing-Ming Junior League Team with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.
