Delaware District 3 Wins Senior League Softball World Series Championship

Sunday's game against DE District III was a heartbreaker for Asia-Pacific, as they lost the lead late in a 4-0 defeat. The game was tied at zero with DE District III batting in the top of the fifth when there was an error, scoring one run.

DE District III scored three runs in the sixth inning. DE District III's big inning was driven by a home run by Jakayla Sample, a single by Kylie Kruger, and a single by Jordan DiFava.

One bright spot for Asia-Pacific was a double by Kaith Ezra Jaladoni in the first inning.

Taylor Wroten earned the win for DE District III. She went seven innings, allowing zero runs, two hits, and striking out one. Ezra Jaladoni took the loss for Asia-Pacific. She tossed five and a third innings, allowing four runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking zero.

Ezra Jaladoni and Glecilyn Alipato each collected one hit to lead Asia-Pacific.

DE District III had eight hits in the game. Corrin Farris and Sample each collected multiple hits for DE District III. DE District III was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Farris had the most chances in the field with ten.
